Make Your 5th-Grade Contribution Early

A one-time $100 gift (or what you can give) helps fund every major 5th-grade milestone.

These funds support the special activities provided to firth graders to celebrate their transition out of PS 261 and into middle school. All donations are tax exempt and you will receive information upon confirmation of your donation. All left over funds are held for the following year's PTA spending

Why We’re Asking for $100 Per 5th-Grader

We want to make the last year at PS 261 special by celebrating the accomplishments and friends we have all made along the way. Please give what you can if you want to he

What Your Contribution Makes Possible:

  1. Roller Skating Party & Dance

    • Covers renting Pier 2 roller rink, pizza, snacks, drinks, décor, and other 5th-grade events throughout the year.

  2. Field Day Shirts & Treats

    • Funds special 5th-grade t-shirts plus frozen treats for every student on field day.

  3. Yearbooks for Every Student

    • Ensures each 5th-grader gets a beautiful keepsake yearbook—no extra charge, no one left out.

  4. 5th-Grade Art Project

    • Supports a paid collaboration with an outside arts organization for a special 5th-grade art piece or experience.

  5. Caps & Gowns for Photos

    • Pays for rental caps and gowns so all students can participate in graduation portraits.

  6. Graduation Ceremony & Swag

    • Covers flowers, cupcakes, drinks, décor, swag bags, diplomas, “big heads,” and more.
