January 20, 6:30 pm: The Talk with Rachel Lotus (Puberty Workshop for Parents) RSVP for Adult Attendee. Child Care RSVP

We're thrilled to welcome Rachel Lotus back for her annual Puberty Workshop—a favorite among both students and parents! Each year, Rachel partners with our 4th- and 5th-grade classrooms to guide students through the big topics: puberty, physical development, and understanding how our bodies change. Kids love her blend of honesty and humor, and we're grateful for the care and expertise she brings to our community.

This special evening session is designed just for parents. Talking openly about puberty helps kids feel more confident and prepared for the changes ahead. Rachel's warm, engaging approach makes this important milestone comfortable, informative, and fun. Whether you have questions or just want to listen and learn, please join us for this invaluable conversation. RSVP if you'd like to attend! Sign up if you need child care!

If you know a family considering PS 261, please invite them to join us for a tour! Parent volunteers always make our tours extra welcoming—join us!
