Inspired by the March on Washington, students walked as a group to the steps of Borough Hall where they were joined by Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and District 33 Councilmember Lincoln Restler, friends, and families. Students chanted and sang songs and the 5th graders gave spirited speeches to express their concerns, hopes, and calls to action around issues that are important to them.
